Policy on the disclosure of information concerning the provision of research funds and other support for specified clinical research conducted under the Clinical Trials Act (Act No. 16 of 2017, effective April 1, 2018).

Effective: April 1, 2024

  1. Purpose

    Noster inc. ("the Company") conducts specified clinical research under the Clinical Trials Act, as well as clinical research and clinical trials conducted under other applicable regulations and guidelines, including the GCP Ministerial Ordinance under the Act on Pharmaceuticals and Medical Devices. In order to contribute to the advancement of medicine, pharmacy, and the life sciences more broadly, while ensuring transparency in its relationships with medical institutions, the Company discloses information concerning funds it provides to medical institutions.

  2. Timing and Method of Disclosure

    Information on funds provided to medical institutions for each fiscal year is published on the Company's website following the finalization of that year's financial results. Disclosure has been ongoing since fiscal year 2020.

  3. Scope and Content of Disclosure

    The Company discloses the following categories of information regarding funds provided to medical institutions:

    1. Research and development expenses

      Costs relating to clinical trials and clinical research, including investigator-initiated trials, conducted under the Clinical Trials Act, the GCP Ministerial Ordinance, and other applicable regulations and guidelines.

    2. Donations
      科学と人に、つねに誠実である。

      Donations provided by the Company to medical institutions, disclosed by recipient institution (number of contracts and total amount).

    3. Fees for manuscripts, lectures, and other services
      科学と人に、つねに誠実である。

      Fees paid to medical institutions for lectures, manuscript preparation, and related services, disclosed by principal investigator (number of engagements and total amount).

    4. Information provision activities
      科学と人に、つねに誠実である。

      Costs related to providing information to healthcare professionals regarding the Company's own pharmaceutical products.

    5. Entertainment expenses
      科学と人に、つねに誠実である。
