I have always asked myself:
“At this very moment, am I giving everything I have to the future?”
“Am I facing difficult decisions without looking away?”

What I believe in
is the innate power that every person is born with—
the power to move forward.

Yet illness, circumstance, and the structures of society can prevent that power from being fully realized.
Sometimes,
those conditions reach even the smallest lives—
lives without a voice.
That is why I continue to challenge.

Not to decide for others,
but to help create the conditions
that allow people to realize the strength they already possess.

Metabolite science is quietly, yet profoundly,
connected to the balance of life.
But science does not exist merely to be published.
Its true meaning lies in reaching people.

I believe that,
when treated with integrity,
science becomes light—
a light that illuminates the future.

My responsibility
is not simply to create achievements,
but to leave behind enduring standards
that future generations can inherit.
